The New WC - AKA Wives Club

Bob Leonard actully emailed him about the Funfest in Effingham that we went to and he never heard back from him, so he must be too busy defending the boutique--which he doesn't own.:laugh::laugh:
Wow, I should have stopped in to see him when I was in Chi Town a couple of weeks ago :pat: - why didn't you remind me Cubby? - I bet he would have LOVED to see me again! :reddevil
So, he's Mr. CTS (Close The Sale) now, huh? I wonder if we will see a CTS Boutique anytime soon ..... word of caution .... don't buy the luggage!

Here we go AGAIN

I'm thinkin' that before Sunday is over THE TRUCK is finally going to be history. Hurrah!

Since we now have the newest grandboy, and MAYBE another one in the future - We need a 7 passenger vehicle ..... yeah, we do a lot of family stuff ..... So, haha, we are going to be looking at Crossovers ... Now that's something we've never owned. :blinzel:

Any suggestions?

I think this is gonna be a fun forrage actually. Since we are such compulsive buyers I have no clue what we will end up with .... :pat:

Try a Chevy Equinox they are really kind of cool.

Well - a new car didn't happen today ... we ended up in a casino instead ... much more fun! :rocker:

Gonna go look at the Traverse tomorrow too.

This is NOT fun.

I keep wandering over to the sports cars .... :pat:

I think that if I were in the market for the type of wheels you seem to be looking for I'd look seriously at the SRX. Just my 2c.

I have driven both the SRX and the Escalade. I loved the Escalade - but what a gas hog. Also have driven the SRX ..... it was okay. Over-rated. MHO is that it's wasted $$ on it. ALL of the crossovers are rather boring. Beleve it or not, I think that is one market that I blieve the overseas companies have gotten right.

When I was with LinSue her husband had her test drive a new Tahoe. I thought that was pretty nice.. She in fact is the owner of a new blue one. Her MPG was pretty good, and the $$ more in line with "you get what you pay for." That is probably the destination for today - although I hope I won't start drifting to the Corvettes .... because, you all know, that just might be a future purchase too. :willy_nilly:

I am very much into Corvettes and that new Grand Sport is hard to beat. I dont know if you looked at the Spec's on it but it is almost a Z06 with less horsepower and a lot less money. :D

Fred;)

No new car today.

Everything is UGLY. Well, some aren't but they cost 3X as much as my first house. :willy_nilly:

I just can't get excited about buying a "van" ..... :pat:

Best of luck with that beautiful set of wheels!!!:patriot::patriot:

This morning I met the couple that just purchased the '06 Silver XLR at Red Noland Cadillac. I told them about the forum and the gentleman wrote it down so hopefully he will come on line and become a member. I told them about the get togethers we have.

Sunday afternoon the garage door bounced up and down on Little Bugger. Thank heavens no damage was done. Took the Maguires cleaner and wax and everything cleaned off and left no marks. How lucky can one be?

I hope they decide to join us here and next May when we come to town.
I'm glad there wasn't any damage to the roof of your car.

Thanks, it was the front bumper, right in the center both above and below. Guess the clear coat is pretty tough, the garage door doesn't look too bad either. It sure made a lot of noise and I could just imagine the whole bumper was falling off from the sound of things.

We haven't gone to a dealership yet, so she hasn't had the opportunity to see one up close and personal. But I can see us taking a trip to one very soon.

We'll have to see which colors they come in, I haven't even looked at them on Chevy's site yet.
