Good evening XLR community. I just purchased a 2008 XLR-V Black Raven with the Ebony/Cashmere interior. I must say the car is absolutely stunning. I haven’t driven it much as I plan to store it for the winter. A couple of things I noticed is that the information buttons aren’t illuminated as well as the HUD buttons. Is the normal? Also, the truck slowly closes. I cycled it 5 times and it stayed open, so I’m assuming that it needs to build up pressure. Most certainly glad to be apart of XLR Net.

I have never noticed a problem with the dash lights, have you read the owners manual on how to adjust them. I would change the trunk struts, it sounds like they are getting weak.

Yeah the trunk should stay open . the two gas shocks holds it up not the pump. If it does not stay up by itself it wears heavily on the pump.

The manual didn’t address my issue. I will address the strut in the spring and check the fluid level. Thanks!

The LEDs in the switches burn out. I’ve changed mine couple of times. You have to replace the entire switch modules. They use to sell for about 19$ new but can be very difficult to fine anymore.
