I'm with you, RA. I've packed denim and warmer clothes (Yellowstone is supposed to be only 45 when I get there!).

I'm also fully packed, except for my razor and toothbrush! I'm READY!!!!!!

We may ship out some of our clothes. We stopped by our favorite camera store tonight and picked up a few new items for the trip.

It's certain now that Diane and I will not be able to make the trip to Colorado Springs this year. We were gone for two weeks and just got back a week ago today and our family pet, Sampson, was in very poor health when we returned. We have been nursing him back and he is doing much better, but we just can't leave him again for a week this soon. He is a 13 year old German Shorthaired Pointer and is a big dog and he is very old for his breed, but has been healthy up until now. We were really looking forward to driving our car up there and meeting everyone and we were going to go over to Diane's dad's house in Kansas after Colorado. Diane has already told her dad that we will not be coming and she will probably fly up to his house for a visit soon since we are not driving, he's getting to old to drive down here.

I know everyone will have a great time and we are looking forward to pictures during and after the trip. Everyone have a safe drive!

Colorado Get Together

We will probably see you in 2011, as we are talking about a trip to Charleston, SC!!! There will be postings here on the forum, probably towards the fall of this year. Sorry you will be missing Colorado Springs.

Shipping info to Hampton Inn

If anyone is interested in shipping extra clothes, etc. to the Hampton Inn, I spoke with Stacy & that is fine to do.

If you want your stuff to arrive BEFORE you check in, just put your name and the word "Guest" and your confirmation # on the shipping label.

If your items arrive AFTER you have checked in, they will call your room to let you know your package has arrived.

I already have the address of places to ship your items back home.


ATTN: Ruth Ann, a shipping center is located within a mile of the Cheyenne Mountain Resort.
