Looks like Wisconsin is getting a LOT of rain. Do you have any flood damage, Quinn?

I logged on tonight, specifically to ask just that! I realize their homes in no danger, but what about the surrounding communities.

I will. I did hear on the news today that the weather in your area is hot hot hot. I wouldn't like those seasons.

I think I wanna move. Woke up this morning - COLD! Low 50s all morning. Brrrrrr. At least its not supposed to rain for a week.

It has turned cold here for us in the Midwest but it is great sleeping weather. I hope it doesn't rain. It rained here on Saturday I didn't know we were suppose to get rain at all this weekend.

It's been such a mixed bag of weather here ... mostly hot - scares us all - it is the type of heat that removes the moisture from the air and the foilage ... just sucks it out because the humidity is so low - and that's how the fires gain fuel .... Seriously, this is our Smokey the Bear season ... This past weekend there was a fire on a hill not too far from our house .... The fire department had 2 helicopters dipping and dumping water from the riverbed by my house, a spotter plane, and some other kind of fire fighting plane up in the air and got it under control in less than a half an hour. It is interesting to watch the aircraft do their dance in the air - it is well orchestrated and amazing ... but, oh man ... when those fires do something unpredictable ....

Same here, went to Carmel for a day, waaay too hot. Came back home, 101 degrees on the patio in the shade. Hopefully when this wave breaks, Fall will settle in and stay this time. This weather is no good for the wine grapes either.

I think even she is feeling this heat wave. Me, I am looking forward to winter, my kind of weather. Cold, wet and thick valley fog.

My car is really looking forward to the cold, moist winter air. It hates this heat.

Mark, do you live down by Monterey. I was stationed at Fort Ord and just loved that area especially Carmel Valley. That was when I was in to Motorcyles and we went for a cruise to Carmel valley absolutely beautiful stopped at a bar forget name for a cold brew restroom break went to rest room and who's standing next me Clint Eastwood. Extremely nice guy. Thats really fantastic cruise good times. In fact the entire surrounding area is also. I will bet you had a blast. To bad it was so hot for you guys.

Its a shame we cant get people at this end of the country to start something like the MM's have going. I've mention it three times but no one appears to have interest. We have so many places to go and the Ocean as a back drop really hard to beat that.

The morning is nice but around 11 it gets quite hot. Were looking forward to Fall if we get one.

They keep talking about Global Warming maybe all those Scientist know what there talking about.

We live in the central valley, we are two hours from Carmel, two hours to Yosemite, two hours to the national parks (Kings Canyon & Sequoia Natl.) Two hours to San Francisco, etc. About as central as you can get.

Your a very lucky man that entire area Ive been to or through with Corvette Clubs stunning area. Ingrid and I well never forget Sequioa and Yosemite Nat park. Its really a shame we cant form a group out here and go to some super kool places. Talk about photo ops with your cars. We use to drive out to Calif often love to take route one all the way to Monterey hit fishermans Warf and pig out on the best Clam Chowder I have ever eaten.

OK my friend, I am counting on you to welcome me with good weather. I am packing long pants and long sleeve shirts in one suitcase and shorts and short sleeve shirts in the other one. Since I am driving the DTS I can splurge and take the Hartman Luggage, the three suiter and the two suiter. May even add a garment bag.

Digby is already at the Doggy Spa so my packing will go pretty fast.

We are like that either too hot or too cold. I don't mind the fall. It is nice this year because lately we have been having two seasons winter and summer. This year it actually feels like we are having a fall. We didn't get a spring. Turned out to be a really nice day today. I would say it's 70 sun is out. Love, Love, Love it.
