Today the temperature hit 86 degrees; it was 88 degrees near Photo Mom's house! Supposed to be warm again tomorrow!!

I'm flying into Dallas this week for the ASIS show, hope the weather remains friendly.

Cold front moved in, very overcast, can not see Pikes Peak. Snow predicted for the high country. Guess Winter is on the way, time to think about Arizona or Florida. Brrrrrr!!!!!

I assume you have a fireplace stock up on logs and get digby and cuddle. Sorry if I got your dogs name wrong. We just got 4 weeks ago a Labador Mix. They found him in the desert skin and bones and catus needles in his mouth and all over his body. He's fine now and loves the life he has with us.

I have a fireplace, had a gas log installed with a remote control so I can sit in my wingback chair and turn it on and off. I had to turn the heat on Sunday, a little early if I remember correctly. Digby is on the floor pillows in front of the fireplace, I guess he is ready for me to light the gas logs. Tomorrow is supposed to be a better day and by the weekend in the mid 70's. Maybe I can get "Little Bugger" out Sunday and drive him to church.

Well, we had yet another PERFECT day here in central Indiana. I ran around all day with the top down. We REALLY NEED RAIN, but I just love these high-70s/low-80s low humidity days that we have been experiencing. Is that what it's like out there in San Diego, RA?

Oh, a friend of mine remarked the other day that he doesn't know anybody who enjoys their car more than I do. I told him I know lots of people who do. MY FRIENDS ON THE XLR-NET FORUM!!!!!! :party

Yes .... over 300 days a year .... and that's why we b*#ch to much when it isn't perfect ;) Spoiled ....

Because we get so few inches of rain a year (about 9) .... almost everyone has sprinkler systems installed in the yards ... and we use A LOT of water to keep what green we have green ... water is very expensive ... and we "buy" our water from differnent parts of California, AZ and other states .... there are farmers that are paid NOT to farm because of the water shortage .... You know ... it's tit for tat .... We get wonderful weather ... but we PAY for it.

BTW - tell your friend that you can name names! Oh, yes, I still get a thrill everytime I drive Lola .... she went to Costco this morning and came back with her trunk packed ..... Good girl.

Cant get much better than it will be today clear high low 80's absolutely beautiful. For sure top down weather and go for a nice cruise maybe up to Mt Lemmon and have cake and coffee outside.:D

Fall foliage fun foray!

Perfect early fall weather here in the foothills. Took Crimson Pearl out for some nice "top down" fall foliage viewing. Up through Boone, NC and over to Elizabethton, TN, down through Roan Mountain and back home.

Went to a little tiny town called Sugar Grove, NC and spotted this photo opportunity!

St Louis faired well. Light Scattered Rain from 0400-0600, high winds all day (gusts to 40MPH). The city lost power to 13,000 but all was back on by noon.

Kevin and I are fine. I think it was windier this morning than yesterday. I think it was further north of us. We had high winds but I don't think as bad as they were predicting for our area. They had a wind warning for our area till 8:00 pm last night. We are fine though RA. :D

Yesterday was very unstable, as we started the day in the low to mid 70's with a very large cold front moving through--spawning tornados, heavy rain and high winds. One tornado struck outside of Peotone, IL about 20 miles north of Supa & I. The other comfirmed tornado in IL was further north. Still have high wind warnings today with another chance of tornadic events--cold front will not pass until late evening tomorrow. Further north (Minnesota, Wisconsin) snow is predicted!! (Hope it stays up there, sorry Quinn) Our lows tonight and tomorrow will hit the freezing mark. Our top down weather looks to be over, but you never know we've had 60's & 70's around Christmas time before!

Still in Maine... not too bad yesterday here, in the '60s. Today , on the other hand is socked in so bad, I can't even see the ocean from the vacation home, which is only about 100 feet. Raining REALLY hard now, no wind to speak of, though. Don't think we'll be going anywhere today.

The wind was pretty fierce up by me. Devin said his school lost power 3 - 4 times throughout the day. I ended up moving my light garbage cans into the garage overnight (didn't want to go looking all over the neighborhood for them). We lost power for about 45 minutes yesterday late afternoon.

I saw the news last night - a woman was "impaled" by a tree limb that crashed down onto her Smart car. This happened right in our town (about a mile from our house). The woman was extremely lucky - limb just missed any vital organs. She was humming 70's tunes on the way to the hospital... also - it happened right outside a firestation - so response was immediate. But it was VERY windy... but I didn't feel my office building swaying - like I do sometimes (being on the 14th FL of a 20 story high rise).

Looks like the wind is going to continue today too.

Arizona was delightful, crossed into CO from Utah and it was really cold. Started for Colo. Spgs., yesterday morning about 10:30 and had to wait until they opened Vail Pass. Lots of snow and cold. It was 17 degrees in the Eisenhour Tunnel when I went through. By the time I got to Georgtown you could not tell the color of the car, it was black, could not see out the side windows as they were covered with road crap. Side mirrors were not visable from inside the car. First stop in the Springs was Red Noland Cadillac. They did a great job washing it. Picked up Digby five minutes before they closed. Glad to be home and back in my own bed. Digby is also.

Glad you made it home safe and sound... did you find a house to purchase while there??
