The Weather Channel

Thats sounds like fun. The weather here sucks right now but our best times will be coming soon. By the way how is Cindy doing ? Has she fully recovered?

Fred:wave:

Cindy is doing fine... thanks for asking :blinzel:. She still has a slight limp, but that should go away in the next few months.

Thats great to hear. I have to go and get my knee checked out I have been putting it off because I am afraid the doctor is going to tell me I need a replacement.

Spending a couple of days along the mighty Mississippi River in Prairie du Chien, WI at a country music festival - the weather is absolutely PERFECT! Low 80's, a nice breeze off the river, just the perfect afternoon for an outdoor concert.Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! :)

Since Monday, it has been 95 degrees and above everyday this week. With humidity to match. It's been brutal!

Fantastic day in Colorado Springs today, so far no sight of rain, first in a long time. Took both cars to Red Noland Cadillac and had them washed. Maybe our Monsoon season is over.

It's been beautiful the past couple of days...sunny, highs in the 80's and low humidity.

Yes, Kathy, I agree. The weather has been great, but you should see my brown crab-grass infected lawn! AHHHHHH
BUT - I got to play in the Salvation Army Women's Auxillary Golf Outing today at the Golf Club Of Indiana in Zionsville. THE WEATHER WAS PERFECT, but my golf was not. Our team came in at 5 under par and three teams tied at 20 under. Can you believe that? I guess we don't know how to take full advantage of the (for purchase, it's all for charity) mulligans and yard sticks. WE HAVE MUCH TO LEARN
We really need rain, though... :blinzel:

Getting some WELL NEEDED rain here in Chicagoland. I drove the XLR all last week - beautiful weather. This week, its been sitting in the garage most of the week. In looking ahead - we'll have a beautiful Labor Day Weekend in Chicago - and the 10 Day outlook shows the following weekend as rain-free and beautiful as well. Now all we have to do is hope the THIRD weekend is just as beautiful - for Funfest, down in Effingham. I sure hope. We're really looking forward to it.

You are so right. This was definetly a well needed rain. Our grass was beginning to look terrible. Just one bad thing about the rain. I was finally having a good hair day and now it is shot with the rain. :pat:

No rain in southern Indiana today. As I drove through Louisville, KY at 3:15 the outside temperature was 100 degrees. It was in the 90's here in Bowling Green. Warm & humid...as usual.

Rained most of the day yesterday which was fine we needed it. Today cooler and not humid.

Outside of the steady rain we got yesterday morning (right in the middle of Jared's soccer game)... it turned out to be a gorgeous weekend. Some beautiful evenings to walk Skye. Even dried out enough to take him to the dog park.

LinSue left here today .... we had a great visit .... I told her that I don't like to post on this thread because I feel like a weather snob ... but now she "gets" it ..... I hope she brings home these temperatures to you all ... xxoo

Today it finally rained!!! Yeaahhhhh!!!! Temps were in the 90's before the rain...now in the 70's. Yesterday it was 96 degrees...tomorrow it will be in the 90's again...uggghhhhh.

We had rain last night and just a little this morning. The humidity didn't leave at all. :(

You guys have such great weather that sports probably isn't a big deal in your area. Us Midwest people we have nothing else to do once the weather starts to change. Your not stepping on toes. I watched college football and Blackhawks preseason game on Saturday. I was flipping back and forth. I watched professional football all day yesterday. I watched a little of the SD game. :willy_nilly:
You wouldn't think today was such "great" weather .... it's over a 100 degrees today ... we are gearing up for fire season ... Haha, isn't that funny, we don't have baseball and football seasons .... we have fire and earthquake ...
Have fun watching the game tonight ..... :beerchug:

I will. I did hear on the news today that the weather in your area is hot hot hot. I wouldn't like those seasons.

Looks like Wisconsin is getting a LOT of rain. Do you have any flood damage, Quinn?
