Daniel shared this on Facebook. Thought everyone here if they didn't want to drive their xlrs or precious cars would enjoy this.

Unfortunately for me. My baby had a unfortunate dealing with water in the trunk and trunk storage area. See another post under daily chat. So for me my topless days have ended for a couple days at least. Hopefully will get her back next week.

Ok update on my car water problem. I had this problem on my Chrysler le Barron too. The seal wore out or had a pin hole leak. They did a water test on the car and found the problem. So not only did they fix the seals but they also realigned the trunk. So they said. I told them I wouldn't be able to pick her up till sometime tomorrow. So they are keeping her in the building somewhere where she'll be safe and snug. Can't wait to get her back home though. 1 problem fixed. Now the task of getting this condo back together. Geez.

Ok just got reamed out by my sis about the recent post that I posted on Fb. So now I guess I'll post stuff about car here on this site. To many family members and no gooders on Fb. Car issues I'll try my best to put on here.

Facebook is the devil:reddevil

I know that now. I'm thinking of getting off Facebook or just do a "refresh" of my friends list. Or taking family off my friends list

Well here I go again. I went to walgreens tonight. Opened the trunk to put a bag with movie and greeting cars in the trunk. And out of the corner of my eye,Saw a clip fall down. I tried to open the trunk again and it opened but didn't stay up. The third time I tried no luck. So I thought the service area was closed but found out they close the cashier at 530 but my service guy was just walking out. I explained to him the problem. And he said he would bring it into the garage bay. They will check it out in the morning.

Really Cool Acrylic Decoration

I was searching the web and found a business through eBay that makes acrylic wall mount or desk mount images of any vehicle. They had over 1,000 acrylics on hand but no XLRs :dunno: I sent them a couple of pictures of Victor V and this is what they made for me. They have many light colors to choose from but since black wasn't an option, Amy and I went with red.

Today started off a bit overcast, but about noon the sun came out and gave us a nice afternoon with a temperature of about 50 degrees. I needed to run an errand so I decided to get the El Camino out and drive it.

I don't drive it very often, so it's always kind of interesting when I do. At first, it feels strange. But in no time at all it becomes very familiar again! It should be, I purchased it new in 1976 and have owned it for over 37 years.

Every time I get it out, I keep saying that I should take it out more often. Maybe I'll do better this year.

NICE!!!!! I used to have a 1968 Ford Ranchero with a 390 in it. It moved along quite nicely, I might add. Sold it many years ago; not a day goes by that I wonder where it is (probably ended up in some salvage yard and is now crushed) and wish I had it back... Oh, the Memories!!!!
