Woke up to snow on the ground again! The sun is out so it should be gone soon.

BG got over 11" of rain last Saturday and Sunday. There was major flooding all around, including Beach Bend Park. Here is a picture of the end of the dragstrip. The bottom of the signs are 12' off of the ground!
Bummer - just heard from Cindy (my wife) ... flight cancelled. I hope she gets on her standby attempt.Pouring rain this morning here in Chicagoland. Took wife to the airport early morning; I hope her flight off to CT gets off. She isn't used to flying to begin with, let alone in bad weather.
I think the rain is supposed to go a bit into the weekend, but I hope we get some sunshine as well.
Have a great Friday everyone - and a better weekend.

Rain Rain go away!!!!!
Hey no problem. Mother Nature is afraid of me.Hey! It worked! Clouds are still here ... but the rain stopped and the roads are drying up.
Thanks Supa.
The sun keeps showing up a little bit. It's partly cloudy here and man oh man a little windy.
About froze my butt off at Jared's soccer game this morning. But lucky me, Jared volunteer'd me to carry the flag and be a line judge. At least I got to run up and down the sidelines to say warm. Only 40 degrees! 2nd week of MAY? This is nuts! Spotty rain most of the day. Should stop by evening.Same here. Very windy and cold. What a change in temps.

I don't know about you Chicago Dave but I am sick of the rain. Saturday was crazy and we got stuck driving in it. It was nothing but a down pour and you could barely see in front of you. We made it home safe and sound just very very slowly.
Glad to hear you are okay, the tornado in Streator wasn't very far from you. They showed the damage on tv, pretty sad.
