Well we met with cornishon and his wonderful wife today. Boy are they lots of fun! Here are the photos I took up at the Range Cafe where we met and put on a mini Cadillac show, just the 3 cars, 2 "Black Cherries" and my Electra Blue.

New Kitchen update

The last piece of backsplash has been installed, tomorrow it will all be grouted. The only thing left will be to paint the walls and the kitchen will be finished. Pretty good considering it was only started 12 months ago. My how time flies. The first floor will soon be totally finished.

I want to post pictures Bruce but first I have to find someone to teach me how to get pictures on this forum.

A friend told me about a home in Tucson that they think I should buy. I guess I need to ask Speedway what the neighborhood is like. The address is 2302 N Camino Cascabal, Tucson, AZ 85749. I am still thinking about a winter home in the South although this winter has not been too bad. It was about 46 today. As long as it doesn't get below freezing at night I don't mind winter.

Ray has Wednesday off - me too .... I need to do some serious casino time .... lol

Meanwhile off to the dentist - it's not too far from my house so I think I'll put Lola up on a freeway and let her stretch a bit. My gosh - I still can't believe what a rush I get from that car.

Hey, well, what about last night's GRAMMY'S .... was Lady Gaga's and Elton Johns opening act not the best thing you have seen in forever? She is awesome. Him too.

Can't wait to see it! A winter home huh? So we have to get one in CO and one in AZ now? Don't make it to hard on us at retirement! I know when we get there we will look at stuff, that's how we roll!

I wish I had done this YEARS ago .... I am having the best time ... it's not like work at all .... lot's of socializing and hey, when I'm done I get to have a glass of wine!

I never understood it when people said they were being paid to do what they love. Now I know. Sort of like ballplayers .... they don't do it "just" for the $$. They are using their talent, playing and getting paid for it. As much as I thought I liked what I used to do - now I know the difference. I'm not even tired when I get done, I feel exhilartated! Who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks?
