National Corvette Homecoming 7/14-7/16/11

Booked a plant tour for 2PM on Thursday the 14th. I imagine those will fill up quickly.

Does anyone think we could get a group of 20 people for a Private Tour?

Thursday afternoon might be a good time to take the tour.

We just filled out the registration form .... there is a box now for the XLR display - non-judged .... So, I guess that's it..... all we have to do now is cross off the days!

Is this the ONLY registration form that needs to be submitted? And does that allow us to attend the other events as well? Touch of Class, Weekend Pass, etc????

Moderator: Can a "sticky" be created with just the links of the hotels, the registration, XLR activities, etc. be created so that people who tend to hijack (like me) can't get the important information buried?

Also, hopefully, as the date gets closer we can plan some XLR Reunion things .... like a repeat of that steakhouse dinner at R3 ....

Yes, that is the only place that you need to register. That will get you two tickets to The Touch of Class, and a weekend pass for two people. If you want to play golf that would be an extra charge. That charge to be set at a later date.

Interesting... called Hilton Garden Inn for rates for the Homecoming and found they don't have any rooms blocked.
Called Holiday Inn and Marriot... best rates were at Marriot, but booked both. Will decide which we want to stay at and cancel the other.

I haven't even asked Diamond Del if he wants to go - just making executive decisions. I'm bringing the XLR for sure! Can't stand it that we missed the Fall Drive

When I called the Courtyard, I was told there was nothing that could be done to get the $99 rate for the 13th. We were leaning toward staying at the Holiday Inn for only $30 more overall, but think I'll wait to hear if you get the $99 for the 13th before I cancel the Courtyard reservation.

When I made my reservations at the Holiday Inn, I was told there were only 4 more of the blocked reservations left at the $110/night price.
