Mid-Ohio race weekend

Not this trip - potential conflict, might have to leave early, etc. meant parking in the outfield and walking plus Coach didn't want Black Beauty alone in the field. Expect to come in North gate and park there. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Cadillac Racing came through! I have two infield parking passes for anyone needing one. Coach, even if you need to leave early, may as well park what you bring up near us.

Anyone else need an infield pass. I heard these sold out last week.

Gizmo, that's great news! You are correct, the infield passes are sold out.
Unionrunner, you should get one of the passes and park in the infield with the group.

Will be leaving in a couple hours for mid-ohio. Amazing how much will fit in the back of XLR. Will be at track early on friday to pick up golf cart and set up camp. Can't wait to see everyone again. Hope the rain stays away for racing.

If you give us a call when you get to the track, I'm sure someone can run the parking pass out to you on the golf cart.

We can't leave until Friday morning so we won't get to Sunbury Hampton until late tomorrow night. It's about 560 miles from beautiful downtown Avoca.
So we'll meet you all at the track Saturday morning if we don't find you drinking in the parking lot
We are bringing The Barbie Car, but of course Diamond Del will insist on driving because 'he doesn't fit in the passenger side'.

Camp Toffolo

Marc, has Camp Toffolo all set up & it looks GREAT! We have the same corner spot as last year. Marc, is going to invite the Cadillac Team drivers to stop by & meet our group.
unionrunner, you need to bring the XLR & park it with the group in our corral. It will be safe there.
We'll see everyone there tomorrow.

Well I made it to Camp Toffolo.

Quinn, you'll be sorely missed. Hope things work out for the family.

Talked to Dana few minutes ago. Her boss wants us to join the Cadillac Corral next year. They have 110 slots in their coral and would love for us to join them. As for this wekend Mark said there's no way he's moving Camp Toffolo now. Also, looks like lunch is a no-go, but the paddock tour is still on for 1330.

Like Rich said, THANK YOU to all who helped make this another great XLR weekend! In addition to the usual suspects, I need to thank Cadillac Racing for donating infield passes to us and inviting us over to their exclusive paddock tour. I would also like to commend the Cadillac Racing marketing folks for embracing our group as part of the team.

CONGRATULATIONS to Johnny O'Connell who scored Cadillac's first win in the new car.

Camp Toffolo now has an annex in prime real estate for viewing the race under a canopy with transportation between the two. Way to go Mark! I'll never buy a grandstand seat again.

And thank you to everyone else who attended - without you guys there, I'd have been stuck hanging out with the disappearing Cadillac Corral.
