I spoke with Kim @ the Clifty Falls Inn this morning to make sure they were ready for us. They are looking forward to our visit on Saturday. Thanks to Kim, we won't have to pay to enter the park. We should have our own seating for lunch. She said the water level of the Ohio River is way up along with the creeks in the park. The waterfalls are really flowing, should be great viewing by Saturday. She said the easiest place to view the Big Cllifty Falls is on the North end of the park. There is a paved walkway down to the falls.

XLR8r3838 and son were the only ones who were seriously thinking about the zipline, but they're rethinking it due to the weather and limited time to get a "raincheck" used. The weather outlook is getting better though- a high of 60 on Saturday as well as Sunday with a 0% chance of rain either day!

I think Devin and I will pass on the Zipline. We're fine with killing the stop. I promised Devin that I'll take him Ziplining another time.

My wife and I just got back from a cruize up to Door County with the XLR (celebrating our 20th Anniversary). Rained driving up and down, but beautiful day on Wednesday (our Anniversary). Ready to pack up the XLR again and head down to Indy EARLY Sat. morning. Devin is SO excited (as well as myself).

Just got off the phone from Larry Farenkamp. He is not going to be able to make it this trip. He has got to get a large Proposal out to a client and will be working on it all weekend. He says he will miss being with us.

I will have a spare room still available if anyone needs it. It is a room without a balcony and is a smoking room. If no one wants it I will let our son use it. First come first served.

Sure hope you have good weather for your fall drive, we had snow last night and so far today I have not been able to see Cheyenne Mountain from my house. This is way too early and I am not ready for winter.
