Help! Does the drive sun visor; Open /Close garage door opener have a battery in it?

Mine is alittle flakey at times; I have to pull very close to the door to close; open seems o.k.

No, I think it gets it's power from the car battery only. Check your owners manual to make sure.

That will work. You just need to see if your dealer will cut it if you bringbyour own blank. They will have thevsame key for usually less than this price. They charge you for cutting it. Like i said before,you have to go in person with the title and your drivers license for them to make you one

I bought one at the dealer for $8, and they cut it copying my original. It's not like that it's just a plain blank without the black plastic.

That was what the original part number called for the plain flat key. They are discontinued. The blank like shown is the only profile from gm that will work. I think they list for 20$ now at the dealer plus cutting. Its cheaper to duplicste than to get a new one made. The latest number the dealer might have is 23372327
