Do you see Xlrs 05 XLR

Last week i past the fields cadillac, (that used to be premier and before that used to be parker) and then today i past again. At first i thought it was in for service. But i think (not positive) that it is for sale. I text my salesman and he said it was a 05 with either 68k miles or 68 k in price. Someone is or will be happy to pick that up. Don't know if its 1 of 3 (4 if include mine) that are in my area. :dunno:.v I even went on their website Fields Cadillac | St. Augustine, FL Dealership | New & Used Cars but it didn't show up.

I would hope that is 68 k miles I bought my 05 in March of 2011 with 53k and only paid $25K!

Maybe the dealership knows how popular these cars are. That's why I couldn't find it on their website.

Surprisingly they could not sell the one I bought they just reduced the price before I bought mine!

Ok went down to the dealership just for air in my tires. and saw this 05 ImageUploadedByTapatalk1361030103.698181.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1361030120.653795.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1361030140.060618.jpg the service lady said its a piece of junk. It was the old owners when they were Parker or premier. I guess he didn't appreciate it as the cAr should be. The interior even was tan but darker wood trim. Outside the usual wear on the black molding but all in all looks nice.

a TAN XLR

Steve & I winter in North Port Florida (Gulf side, south of Tampa/ St. Peterrsberg) and I see a number of XLR's in this area, generally passing me going the opposite direction. I regularly see a red one driving along Edgeway Dr in Port Charlotte but have never figrued out where it lives. Also occasionally see a black one: again always moving etc. Today I saw a TAN one in Port Charlotte. It sure did not look like a Gold Mist, it looked tan/beige. Someone correct me if I am wrong but I dont think they ever produced tan so I am going to assume it was a repaint. As always I carry my XLR cards with this web address on it too, with hopes of approaching an owner but not everyone is as passionate about these fabulous cars!

Saw one Tuesday

As I was leaving my Dermatologist office I met a Red one. It turned into a shopette but I didn't feel like turning around and finding it. My face had blood and bandage from yet another biopsy. Maybe next time I see it I can make contact. That is the second one this week I have seen.

I think its been discussed here before. The guy races outta St Charles MO, I think. But the car was destroyed, rebuilt, and wrecked again. No plans to resurrect.

It was probably Gold Mist. I doubt anyone would have done a repaint to change color. It would seem to be a major pain to do it right. :dunno:

I agree with Cubby ... I've seen a gold mist - it LOOKS tan. Its a very unique color, don't see many of them around. :)

Yep had 1 here believe an 06 at a car lot not to long after I bought mine. It also looked tan but in the sun you could see the gold mist color in the paint! ( :( WE DID NOT PARTICULARLY LIKE IT EITHER)

Don't know if this link will work? Seen this XLR Video from 2012 on FB today from KING PENN WINDRESTRICTOR XLR Event San Antonio - YouTube

Thanks for posting! Recognized a bunch of now close friends that I did not know knew when this was filmed. In fact I was years away from owning my XLR at the time of the San Antonio trip
you found here. Very cool!
