I still hold the record for stock Northstar internals!! And yes I posted a timeslip.
Go Black!
I remember when you posted the timeslip and made the challenge. I didn't remember that it was conditional.

gizmo you keeping his times a secret?
Sorry for the camera phone pics, but the lighting wasn't that good inside the building. I spoke the owners for about 20-30 minutes and they "love" their XLRs! The reason "why" I never notice the black XLR-V was because of the color and that the windows to the building are tinted.
Here's a poor pic of the one of the owners.
This lady must be tiny if she's standing up cause I went out and measured from my floor to the highest point on the top of my X and it's only 4 feet. So she must be less than 5 feet tall. Can she reach the pedals of that X?
I had a tiny lady friend that was only 4' 5" tall and had to have pedal extenders for her Chevy Blazer and she also had to carry a set around with her for small air planes cause she was a pilot!
stopped at a store on the weekend and in the parking lot? a black XLR. First one I've seen in Calgary. Not sure if its standard but one thing I noticed is that all the badging was gold plated. Even the stock exhaust was gold plated (well not real gold...). I hung around a few minutes hoping to meet the owners but nobody came by and I had to leave.
I am in Davenport Iowa now and have only seen one red XLR around town. I see it about once a month. When I went to Chicago for a week I only saw one and it was black. What happened to all the XLR's? Did people trade them for convertible Camaros? I saw quite a bit of those.
Last weekend I saw a sliver XLR headed to the PCH, but I don't know if it was a XLR or a XLR-V. I think the driver of the XLR was just as shocked as I was! LOL. Anyway, clicked on my high beams and flashed him.
I was at Auto Enhancement in Fresno CA this week and talked to an old friend of mine who owns the shop. He told me that somebody came to his shop with a XLR-V in black. The car was lowered, tinted windows, and custom wheels. The owner was there having a after market exhaust installed. I asked for pics, but somehow he didn't take any pics. LOL.
Their in garages all cuddled up and nice and warm.
I think the XLR looks more like the Allante than the Cien.
