Thanks great, Bruce. Would you be able to bring your Tech 2?

Sorry once again all, Marc has plans for a golf outing in KY on Saturday and I'm not sure I'm up for it just yet. But enjoy and hope the weather is good for U all!

We are waiting to hear when Bruce & Kathy will arrive at our house, and then we will trek up to St. Charles. We are planning on being up there early, (probably around 9:00am) to beat some of the heat; forecast calls for 90's. I think Quinn & Diamond Del are coming down as well, so we should have a good group. I'll PM you with my cell number so we can keep in touch. See you Saturday!!

I will try and remember to bring it along.

Are you going to be there both days this weekend? I've got to work tomorrow, but will be in the area Sunday and need some assistance removing the Nav from the center console.

Just on Saturday, sorry.

We got the car ready to go...see you guys tomorrow. It's going to be a warm one.

I am so jealous .......
Hope you all are having a great day ...

We're having a great time with Supa, Cubby, Quinn, DD, Cadillac Tech, Photo Girl, Photo Mom & Bob. Gorgeous weather, a lot of beautiful cars. We are now enjoying a wonderful evening out to dinner.

I had a good time seeing you all. Kevin, thanks for the ride from the airport. Looking forward to having you all here in September.

Some pics Devin & I took.

A sea of gorgeous cars. Very nice. Unfortunately Cubby and I could not park out on the golf course, since we were not Corvettes.

Home safely

We made it home @ 1:30 am this morning, a very long, warm day.
It was a great event. There is so much to see. One day isn't nearly enough time to try and see it all. We may have to think about making it an annual multiple day event.

The best part of course, was being with our great friends, always a lot of fun. Supa was...well, Supa entertaining people all day long. We got to see Dave and Cathy's beautiful '10 Grand Sport. Thanks for the gifts Dave and Dave and Cathy, very kind of you guys to think of us.
There were only 2 XLRs in attendence, Chicago Dave's & Cubby's...maybe more for next year.

How many Corvettes are typically in this show? I love the way it is set up there in that park-like setting - it really shows off the cars.

There are thousands of Corvettes that show up for this 4 day event. It is the oldest Corvette show in the country. It started out in Bloomington,IL in '74 and was there for many years before moving to where it is now, in St. Charles,IL. The Pheasant Run Resort is a wonderful location and the cars are displayed around the golf course. The Great Hall display had some of the most valuable and historically important Corvettes in the world. Then there was the auction that ran for 3 days. A great show.:rocker:
