XLR debut @ Detroit Auto Show 2003

Pre-production XLR in BG in 2003

Here's some pictures of 2 pre-production XLRs in BG @ the 2003 Bash. The Thunder Gray XLR was Dave Hill's & Will Cooksey was driving the Black Raven XLR.

Lockhart Cadillac's new car show in Oct. '03, Kathy & I were asked to do the presentation on the XLR that night. I think everyone
that night thought Kathy was a beautiful

Gee, you two look like models from GQ (yea Bruce I said it) and Victoria Secret... purposely sent to try and make the cars look almost as good.

Glad you liked the pictures. Hard to believe it's been over 10 yrs ago. Fun to look back, it was an exciting time in our life!.:wave:
 
Great pics Bruce. It is great to see a piece of history. Especially like the rectangular exhaust tips and pics in front of the museum. It sounds like you and Kathy are making the trip to Dublin in July. I'm looking forward to putting names and faces to the many great folks that we meet here on our forum.

I remember going to a new car show in Nov of 1999 and seeing the Cadillac EVOQ concept car for the first time,,,and thought > WOW! :thumbsup

Glad that GM bought the vehicle to production in the form of the XLR....:wave:
