iPod adapter. It hooks to the Xm wires and you can play your iPod or iPhone through the stereo. I just found a Bluetooth adapter to plug into it so I can Bluetooth my music from my iPhone to the stereo without wires. Pretty cool.

Dealer logo

I always have the dealer remove their sticker/plate before purchase. I tell them I will be happy to have a rear plate that has their name but that is all. Then I remove that. No need for free advertisment for the dealer.

My dealer has been very good to me and treated me so well that I'm glad to leave his logo on the rear of the car. If this were the old days where they drilled a couple of holes in the trunk lid to mount a chrome emblem, it might be a different story, but it's just a small transfer on the left side of the rear deck lid.

I'm more than glad for folks to know where it came from, right here in the area and not from 5 states away.

Your opinion may vary!

How does the Bluetooth match to our system? Is it wiring involved to initial hookup? I like the wireless setup. I'm not interested in adding any holes or switches/button that would change the original look of the interior! I'm thinking in order to plug in an iPod you may have to do that!

True. It will only work with something with Bluetooth. I know the older iPods didn't have it. I'm not sure about new models. I got it at Target. It is a little square tha plugs into the 30 pin adaptor on the lock pick and receives Bluetooth signals.

How much trouble is the Lockpick to hookup and do you know the price of these units? Thanks!

I completed project #1 on my bucket list last night and installed the rear sway bar. Took the Gray Jewel out for a spin and I do not understand why GM did not install this bar from the start.

Now I don't feel like a dog wagging its tail.

Onto the breaks, intake, and if the sound passes my wife's ears, exhaust upgrade.

I replaced the exhaust on my Vette with stright pipes from the headers to a high flow cat, onto a cat back X pipe into two Flowmaster mufflers.

My wife likes the sound when it's around town and on short trips but on long trips the drone gets to her.

I've heard some Corsa exhausts on a couple of C5's and they really rap but this was at the track on the road course and others doing autocross. I have not heard them from inside the C5's at 60-70 mph.

Maybe I'll get the chance this summer on the rocket run to hear how they sound on the XLR's. This engine needs a little more breathing and a little more 'sound'.

tail wagging

"Now I don't feel like a dog wagging its tail."

Come now, there is drooling, panting and leg humping involved in this too.

I just call the company that provided a lock pick for our XLR's and they no longer produced. Are there any other options?
