Rendezvous IV - San Antonio, TX - May 20-24, 2009

Okay, then .... back to a planned event ... are we talking still about the drive to Horseshoe Bay for lunch???? Is THAT part of the Skyline Loop ... I got confused at the part about drug cartels ..:willy_nilly: ..

I'd like to do that drive ....
Anyone else?

Poor Ray, I feel sorry for him. You are already lost and the trip hasn't even started yet. :chuckle:chuckle:chuckle Kent was telling us about the Skyline Loop which is a way to get around El Paso without going right thru it close to the border. New trip, after we are nice and comfortable in our rooms in SA, would be to Marble Falls for lunch. The Marriot at Horse Shoe Bay is on Lake Lyndon B. Johnson, aka Lake LBJ. It may be possible to pull up their menu on the internet, I am not sure. Glad you got your new laptop, that will keep you busy and Ray can just use the Nav system in Lola and he will do just fine. We still love you even with the confusion in the Windmills in your mind. :chuckle:chuckle:chuckle

Okay ... got it ... Loop on the way to SA....

Horseshoe Bay is an event we can plan to do ....

Right?

Don't feel sorry for Ray .... I keep telling him how damn lucky he is!

Marion .... we know you are up for everything .... we count on that! :rocker:

Back from a long weekend in Florida to see the youngest son. Now I am ready for SA and the hot weather. Let's leave now!!!!!!
Did Missy Bling get her password from the son? :dunno::chuckle

No Little Woman, she did not get the password. We even looked at some homes and condos while we were there for possible future plans. I hate the cold winters as I've gotten older. The whole time we were there my joints didn't hurt at all. As soon as we get back to Indiana they start hurting again.

Ahhh, Mark .... you need to come back to San Diego .... housing prices are ridiculous. :rocker::rocker:

We're getting eagar to take off for San Antonio too ....

Anything in particular anyone really wants to do?

Anyone up for a Dinner Cruise? They are limited seating and a little pricey, but doable if we have 20 people interested.

Me ... for sure, The Alamo ..... and a whole day on the Riverwalk .... :blinzel:

The drive to Corpus Christi sounds like fun. The dinner cruise sounds awesome, count us in on that. Hooters is a must (ok Standby). Just hanging out with old and new friends.........Priceless!!!!

Las Cruces Motel

I forgot where everyone is staying in Las Cruces and don't have time to go back thru all the post. Can someone tell me the name of the Motel so I can make my reservation please? Thanks

yes, Cracker Barrel is way better then Hooter's!!!!!!!!!!!! Just my opinion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:laugh::laugh:

Well, I've lost my spell check, again! :dunno: But then again I'm back on Windows! :willy_nilly::willy_nilly::willy_nilly:

:pat:Yes, Cracker Barrel is good for food, but Hooters is better for waitresses.......Just ask standby.
Why do you have so much trouble with your computer or server? BTW I removed smileys because one of the Geek squad at Best Buy said that's a very bad item to have on your computer and getting rid of it is even tougher, but it's gone and my computer runs a 100% better with it off.

Bob, I have no idea why I have the problems with computers and servers and my embroidery software and the embroidery machine that I have, but not the new embroidery machine. It must be my kind of luck, but it's probably my ghost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dunno::dunno::dunno::dunno::confused::confused::confused:

Hmmmm, back to R4 activities ....
I am checking into the Rivercruise Dinner .... but I need to have at least 20 people commit ... anyone else?? :blinzel:

Is the dinner on the boat? What is the price? Thanks

Yes .... a dinner cruise ... It looks as though the dinners will start at 35$ p/p ... plus cocktails/tip ... I'm guessing that a dinner for 2 will be around $100 .... Of course, my bar bill might get a little higher .. ~ :drink:

I will update this post until I get 20 interested ..... then I will make the final reservations ...
