Chad, you're good to think of us - we were worried about Joaquin but then Trump was scheduled to visit, you know how he feels about immigrants so I guess it scared Joaquin away! :chuckle Whatever other weather has been sitting over top of us is creating enough flooding on its own. It's rained about 2 weeks straight here, unbelievable number of mushrooms everywhere. I feel like I've moved to a rainforest.

The XLR's don't care, as they've just been sitting in the garage & even the base got hooked up to a battery tender by now...

We're supposed to get the heavy rains tonight and tomorrow.

I'm not worried, we live on top of a small mountain. It would take a flood of biblical proportions to get us.

Would an XLR fit on an Ark?

Would we have to have two of them?

If so, we might have stop by BobW's place.

Hoping the weather get is butt off the east coast and out of here before this Wednesday as Thursday is the start of the 17th Endless Summer Fall Cruisin Ocean City Maryland! It's a 4 Day Event with over 2000 custom vehicles plus all the satellite spots and evening gatherings at restaurants and parking lots! We are heading that way on Thursday until Monday always a good time, great food, auto friends and plus getting my brother fully furnished bayside condo for $100 a day! Let's Roll!

It's been over cast with light drizzle all week. The place where my big car show (sat 3rd October ) is a little soggy in the majority of the place. But the show is still a go down here in Florida.

New Diecast Model

I acquired a new diecast model this week. Here are a few pictures. It is 1/37th scale.

You might think you know what it is, but you might be wrong!

Look carefully.

You are correct Sandy, it is a model of the EVOQ, the predecessor to the XLR!

It may well be supposed to be that but the tail lights are not quite right are they? Cool find none the less!

Well I just got back from a car show that had just under 40 cars. Thought I'd share some news. At first I thought it was going to be rained out. But the rain finally ended and sun came out. Mid 80's temp wise. Background was the St. John's river in palatka Florida. Won a award had some sweet rides to fight over. But it was a great relaxing Saturday

Charlie Craig Cruise In

I took my GTO to the Annual Charlie Craig Cruise-In yesterday. This is an event started by Charlie Craig, the brother of a good friend of mine. He is a cancer survivor and started the event to raise funds for Cancer Services. It is both a Cruise In and Old Time Racers Reunion. Charlie has a garage that looks like an old Sinclair Station and contains a stock car racing museum of items collected by Charlie through the years.

There are old race cars and all type of classic cars, muscle cars and street rods attending. All funds go to benefit Cancer Services. Each year Charlie has a special guest or two. Here's a photo of the special guest and myself.

Do you know who it is?
