What is up with this center stack? It's the only one I've run across that's not wood and/or aluminum. It looks blacked out, and I don't think it's just the lighting. Special edition, maybe? (I hope it's not just that somebody went nuts with a rattlecan.)

Black center stack?

Also, this car is advertised as an Alpine White, even though it's clearly silver. Can an Alpine White car come in any color? Seems weird.

White Edition in silver?

Thats an aftermaket radio bezel and aftermarket radio. Some can be good some dont allow the steering wheel functions and cruise to work. All those things need to be addresses. I personally thank the radio bezel makes the whole dash look like some k mart radio install
White was only used in 08 . if its factory white its 08 any other year that is actually white then its been painted.

1293 left the factory in Light platinum and ebony. Looks like the listing fealer cut and pasted information

Thanks for the info, mickeytee. You always have the low-down on these cars. Cut-and-paste undoubtedly accounts for a lot of the Alpine White ads out there and also quite a few Star Black ones.

This is an uncommonly fine-looking example. Look at the steering wheel & driver's seat--I can't detect any sign of wear. Very unusual for >100,000 mi.

And from a dealer and not overpriced--also unusual!

Very fine 2006

Browsing a little closer--the dealer and the registry both agree that the interior is shale. But it sure looks like cashmere in those pictures to me. Monitors vary, but still--am I going blind?
