My XLR/V(s)
2007 Red Jewel XLR
Found this while perusing the Internet looking for an XLR for a buddy of mine in the $30,000 range. Anybody know of any??
The Bloomfield Hills, MI police force must be QUITE well to do; apparently the top never goes down... the light bar would probably not fit in the trunk.

I found both of my XLRs on EBay, and then bought them directly from the lots.

My most recent is a 2006, one owner, 13K miles and I paid $32,500. That is a little lower than what you typically see, but there are a lot of good deals out there.

If you have the VIN, you should be able to get a Cadillac dealership to run you the Cadillac history on the car. That is really handy in knowing what issues have been addressed.

Neat

I can imagine that town or county's property tax bill.

I too purchased mine off of Ebay, and through a Cadillac dealer in Minnesota.
The car was advertised as used with 174 miles on the odometer. The dealer settled for $30,000 off the sticker price. After all the XLR was used :chuckle:lol:.
Dealer even shipped it to Pittsburgh on a car hauler for me since there was two feet of snow up there last January.

The 2009 XLR was previously owned by a 94 year old women ( birth date on registration was March 14, 1916) that finally realized after purchasing the car that she couldn't get her groceries in the trunk with the top down. (honest truth--spoke to her personally prior to purchasing car). She returned the car the following week to the dealer and traded it in on a 2010 Cadillac Escalade, said it had more room.

So I can honestly say there are deals out there...right time -right place.

The Cadillac salesman said he had a good week due to the two sales!!!!!!

"Thats my story ...and I am sticking to it ":beerchug:

Some folks are blessed with good timing, boilermaker. If not always, it sure rolled around to you this time!

I'll wager that cruiser above came to them via confiscation.

I have friends that live in Bloomfield Hills, the man never worked a day in his life, just clips coupons, he can well afford his taxes. Grosspoint is another nice town not too far away, I also have friends that live there. These are expensive towns for people that didn't want to live in Detroit but yet be not too far away. It does not surprise me that they have an XLR for a police car.

These are actually older pics from around 2006-07. I believe it was used during the Woodward Dream Cruise. They also had a CTS-V a couple of years ago at the event. It is held on the third Saturday in August. This year will be the 16th Annual event. Below is a link for information:

Something fishy with this one!

Red Noland Cadillac just bought back a 2005 Blue with 20,000 miles asking $32,900. They sold it new and have done all the service on it. The lady that bought it new started having siesures and had to surrender her drivers license. I don't think there is a blemish on it.
