Help! XLR-V COLORS

HI,

I'm looking to purchase a XLR-V and I have a couple of questions.

1. What were the production years?
2. Where can I find a color chart by year?
3. What is the best production year with the least problems?


I just purchased the CTS-V wagon. I love it.

Kinda surprised you haven't received any replies yet. First off, welcome to the forum! There is actually a wealth of information contained within the site and the experiences of the associated members. I can't be of much specific assistance, but there is a lot of info related to your questions within the Tech Center portion of the site.

I've owned a 2006 V since 2/11 and it has been a wonderful experience. The V's were made in the latter four years of production (06-09). I'm not aware of significant differences over the production span for the V's, but most of the overall XLR glitches were worked out during the initial 04 & 05 Base model production seasons.

Since even the 09 model is now 6 years old, I would suggest acquiring a later model. Many XLR's are out there with surprisingly low milage across the production spectrum, although the later model vehicles will most likely command the highest acquisition price.
