I want to install my new Wind Screen. If I put the top down, and install it-can it be left in with the top up/or down?? I.E. it doesn't interfere with the top going up / down, does it??

nope . lower the top. install and raise and lower the top as usual. I had one but took it back off as the reflection back into the rear view mirror was not worth the little bit of wind change for me. Many people like them.

Thank you for your reply!!

Thank you for your quick reply!!

Installing a WindRestrictor (brand name) also means you have to remove it any time you want to clean the inside of the rear window. It completely blocks access to the glass. Not a big deal, but it's one of those things you don't think about until it's there. And, yes, the reflections are real and take getting used to.

Hi Steve, I've had my WindRestrictor on my car since I installed it in 2011, When I clean my inside rear window I lay a closed up umbrella (I believe it was about 15 inches long) I place about center from side to side in the trunk and use the front of ridge of the trunk on the floor, its in the area back behind the seats on the trunk floor (I'd get something that stops the top slightly back so it won't try to come back closed on you, use any kind of soft block, so it doesn't scratch the paint, it will stop the top from moving forward and hold it in place while you clean the inside of the rear window) I run the top open about halfway until it stops at the block. I then I just throw a blanket on the seats and stand in my stocking feet and reach down in to clean the rear window. Any way you look at it that window not easy to clean.......LOL
