I have a roof control module which I purchased a few months ago and was tested and guaranteed for 30 days. Finally got someone to install it but in the process, he discovered that the leak was not the pump but a top lift cylinder. Tested the top and all worked. Therefore, did not install the module. New module is still in its shipping box - unopened. Asking $930 which includes shipping. Can be contacted at vread@austin.rr.com or 318-348-0831

Who tested it if you did not open the box. These ebay sellers slap tested on everything they sell. They would need a team of people just to operate all the functions of the cars they buy and first get keys made then get them running to test anything. The last 3 or 4 modules sold used on ebay came out of flood cars. I bought one and it was defective . sent it back and they relisted it. They hope someone forgets or whats too long to return to make their money .beware of seller calked HUB They all said tested and there is no way in creation they could test them. i would suggest you install it to your car and if it works fine then sell your old one that is working and leave it in.. Most 04 cars never got the latest upgrade so you need to make sure yours and the used one have the latest part number or the sticker put on by the dealer. If it needs the upgrade thats 100-150 to get it done. Yours may be fine and the price is what they are selling for. Just beware its cheaper to sell and give a refund than to actually test them. now if it is a new as in never used module thats a different story.
