You must have chased it into Winnipeg. We got about 5-6 inches overnight!! Here I thought spring was coming!!

Two days ago, it was over 70ºF here, and I was driving around w/ the top down. :twist:

Last night we got 1½" of snow in Pueblo West.

:dunno:

They have forecast 6-10" here in the Chicago area today. This will be the biggest snow of the year for us, we have faired pretty well this winter. Just hope it is all gone by next Wednesday, for my trip to Sebring!!

Driving with the TOP DOWN!! I can't even see my car for the snow!! Man, can't wait for this stuff to DISAPPEAR.

We finally had a day that wasn't cold & rainy, so I took Beauty out for a long top down run. I've had her 2 1/2 years, & still every time I drive her I get the same "Wow!" feeling I had the first time I drove her. Sure makes me forget about everything I'm juggling & trying to keep from hitting the deck!

That's how I feel every time I take my baby out. Even if it just for a short run

I've been working on a big project out of state for the last three weeks, and have been getting home late Friday nights and leaving on Sunday afternoons. We finished it up this week and I returned home on Thursday.

Had some errands to run today (Saturday) that required the use of my little pick-up. It was 63 degrees today and sunny. So I took Crimson Pearl to run my last errand. Top down was comfortable and a good reminder why we work hard (or have worked hard) to have nice things like our XLRs!

It was a nice day for a top down run and I joined XLRATING for a cat and mouse run through the back roads. Now that was a lot of fun.:naughty: The more I drive Victor-V, the more I can't wait until the next nice day.

Its looking nice nowand hope to stay that way for the rest of the week. 75- mid 80s. the car said it was around 81. i had the car washed (ran through the touchless car was last night) so i had the top up. Didn't feel like dropping the top today. I might this afternoon when i go to pick up my nephew.

It was 17ºF when I got up this morning, and 11ºF when I dropped off my XLR at the dealership in Colorado Springs. No top down action here (without face masks, like the VW commercial). :(

took the XLR to my nieces wedding yesterday. The weather started off decent enough but we received a snow storm during the evening. went to leave at midnight only to find the XLR covered with close to 3" of snow. I was really worried about the drive home but I have to say the XLR did much, much better than I thought it would. I would never make a habit of driving it in snow, but if I get caught I know its capable of getting me home (maybe a little slower than normal, but home).

Funny story now but I had a situation like that. I purchased the car last year dec 17. I flew out to Washington state with my wife excited as could be. After purchasing went over best way to leave dealership and the salesman said I needed snow chains to go the northern route back home to Chicago 90west. I said he's crazy first I'm not putting chains on the car and theirs no room for them. He said if their we're restriction that I could get written tickets and I wouldn't even get threw the "passages". I had him check for restrictions luckily their were none. I hauled ass out of there to get threw the "passage". Got threw okay white knuckles the whole way a lot of snow and I didn't want to wreck my unfamiliar brand new car. Little did I know their we're about six more "passages along the trip. If I would have taken the southern route i80east it would added 2,000 miles to a already 2,200 mile ride. Luckily everything went my way not a problem. Some of the most beautiful scenery I've every seen.

Typical 74 Degs. F here in Southern Cal.!
