Supercharger oil

Surprised no replies to this thus far. I haven't, but would be interested to know the details regarding this action. Perhaps my dealer would have some input... they usually shoot straight with the necessaries.

I am about to find out. Replacing the supercharger snout soon, which will drop all the oil. I have a 10oz bottle and hoping it is enough.

Changing pulleys, are we?

You too?!

Yep, It seems like a little more boost and a tune would be a cost effective way of waking up some sleeping horsepower. Not that I really need much more for what I'm wanting from the XLR, but why not?

Supercharger Oil Change

Hoping to re-kindle this thread. Any V owners have their supercharger oil changed or do it themselves?

Changed oil in my 2004 Monte Carlo SS Supercharged and it used Mobil 1 5W30.

Did pulling the snout work for changing supercharger oil?

I ran one 252,000 without any oil changes or issues. Your mileage may vary, but I don’t think it’s an issue for most.
