Shocks XLR

Circling back to this, got my tech2 back in action and am halfway through the project. Findings so far. Unsurprisingly, mickey is correct: the springs don't sag; my ride height drop was a result of the rubber pads on my adjuster screws being completely gone (and two of my four screws were broken). Doing the "bounce" test with my front height adjusters replaced (and set to the high end of correct ride hide spec as mentioned in post #15), I can see my front values at 2.3v at rest, range down to 2.0 and up to 2.9 with just a 200lb helper rocking the car. My rear values are 2.9 at rest, down to 2.7 and up to 3.3 (this is with the rear riding low as I have not yet replaced the rear height adjusters). GM calls for a range of 1.5-3.5 volts, so both are within spec, but seeing my correct ride height closer to the center of the range gives me suspicion that we are on the right track.

Unfortunately, anywhere in the ESC module, the only output controls and programming I could find were actuating the dampers. I could not find any relearn or recalibrate features in the menus anywhere, although I constrained my menu-flipping to within the Suspension > ESC menus so it may be somewhere else.

Thanks fir the information. Now if we can find a way to see if the shocks are actually responding to the voltage change. yours seems to be close to the middle of the range i would have thought a wider range but you said you are only moving it a bit. If any movement down lowers the voltage i would assume they are centered ill look for the calibration mode i saw on tge corvette forum. Ours should be the same if it can be done

Hey i was talking with danny at luxury auto and mentioned this. He said he was not sure right off the top of his head but thought at rest level they were supposed to read 2.5 he said he does not remember useing the tech two to set them but just does a battery hard reset. Thats disconnecting the cable for 10 mi utes and reconnecting. I would not just do that but if you need to disconnect the battery, id get a reading before and after to see if it changes

That actually makes sense. I ended up a tad high on my fronts, so I’ll be adjusting them down to get within range (based on the physical measurements) and I’d expect by bringing them down slightly the at rest value would come up just a bit. Should bring me right to 2.5.
