Rear bumper key hole covers

Dont waste time or money on the key hole covers sold on ebay
Good idea poorly executed. Made from brittle abs that even if they fit and worked dont take paint well. They are cheap but not flexable and the tabs snap right off. Another member is working on making some that will work and will come in color

Sold by unobtainium .on ebay may want to avoid.

Agree with mickeytee concerning key hole cover in question. The tabs that are supposed to secure the cover are weak and did not secure the part over the key hole. Was able to utilize the part by installing velcro to secure the cover in place after the tabs were removed. Did apply matching exterior automotive paint matching the exterior color paint code to the part and it is currently adhering to the cover. Feel what I have does look better than having the key hole uncovered. Will forward some photos of the finished product.

I agree that anything looks better than nothing but abs continues to off gas and one day the primer and paint will just release. A much better product is around the corner.

Have attached a few photos of the keyhole cover on the car and the paint I used for the application. Also included a photo of the car, has been a fun late winter/early spring project. Looking forward to the warmer temperatures and enjoying the car this summer. Thank you mickeytee for bringing up the keyhole subject and look forward to seeing the better option you discussed in the future.

Thanks for shareing.my idea is to get a couple dozen and anytime im painting one of our colors ill paint 4 or 5.
