2005 Crimson Pearl XLR (aka Susan)
Hi all. An odd first post on the forum, but I was wondering if anyone has had to replace their floor mats. My wife revently gave me a 2005 for our anniversary which looks in every respect like new, except for the mats which just will not come clean. Would like to retain original look with sculpted XLR styling. Recommendations?

Thanks,

Racingintherain

I would think you could order the stock mats from any GM dealer. Also on e-bay there are different styles of mats for the XLR.

I second the LLoyd mats with the V logo.

I have the Lloyd mats with the cadillac logo too. They look awesome and the fabric colors matched perfectly.

I also have the Lloyd Mats with the V logo and they are awesome. I have since redone my interior to two-tone Ebony and Shale, and bought the ebony mats, contrasting my shale colored carpet. The Ebony mats also don't show the dirt like the lighter colored mats. Just a thought for you to consider.

Thanks Cubby558.

Sounds like Lloyd's the winner one way or another.

I think we need some photos of that two toned interior posted! Forgive me if you already have and I missed them.

There is a pic in 'My Garage' just click on it and you will see it.

The two tone seats look great. I'm going tomorrow to Raleigh to get an estimate on having my seats redone. No one will touch them here. I'm hoping they don't kill me on the price! I was thinking I'd like the outer panels in ebony because the tan shows wear so quickly.

That was one of the reasons I did mine as well. I also wanted to break up all the shale. With the upper dash and steering wheel being ebony, it was my obvious choice. The two tone will look great in your black XLR!!

I went to talk to the people in Raleigh about my seats. They were all hispanic and there was such a language barrier that I couldn't get any of the information I needed. I'd ask questions, and they'd just nod. I just left really confused. Back to the drawing board.
