One of the members here has a license plate that translates into that - we need it - first someone worked really hard to try to buy the V at a car show. Now our dealer has called wanting us to bring it to them in the next two days because they want to buy it, since it was on their list of "desirable cars". Wouldn't talk numbers over the phone, said we didn't have to buy anything but they'd give us $6k off a Cadillac if we did (presumably in addition to whatever they gave us for the V). One of the salesmen had previously told us if we ever wanted to sell it, he had someone who was looking.

Not happening! Especially after we spent about three days polishing the paint to (near) perfection :pat:

Poor Beauty, no one is trying to take my base off my hands but I love her just the same - more than the V, she's just pure fun!

Yeah the last couple time I took mine in for service (once to get the touch up paint) I had a sales guy come up to me and ask if I would be interested in selling. I said heck no. The other time was recent when my service guy told me here was someone on the lot asking about my ride. I said again no way. I think I'll make up a sign saying something like this. Don't even ask. This ride is NOT 4 SALE. Or I'll say willing to sell for $100.000. But my luck someone would come up to me like a jay Leno and offer me that much.

HiAmy & Mike, had caddy dealer offer me the same routine, they always have "someone" who is looking?? they're looking to get us to buy a new car!!Remember base cars are no less just because their not v's. IF we wanted v's we would have bought them !! keep up the good work. Al

I just tell everyone, "$50K cash, and I'll walk home." And I don't hide the fact that it's been raced hard and often with records and championships all over the country.

The racing stuff usually shuts them up. No takers, yet.

A picture of your exploded pulley belt might make them run!

Yeah, Mike just throws out crazy numbers like $80k+ so we could get another one & have some change left. No takers at that price yet either. It'll be interesting if someone does ever bite ...

Yeah for me I would tell ppl 75-100 even though mines not a v. I'll ask for v pricing. And that's good about raced hard gizmo. Never thought of that though.
