HI gang, Well I spent $3,500 on a complete north star engine reseal and transmission and put it on a road trip this weekend.. got home and what do I discover Drip Drip Drip Back to the caddy dealers
Have a great XLR day!

That happened with mine - if your leak involved replacing the timing cover, I've heard if it's not put on absolutely perfectly it will flex & leak where it gets a bend. Although I think on mine the dealer went back to Cadillac on a defective part basis. That might be your problem. I know it's a stinker to see that leak back!

The caddy dealer picked it up yesterday and promised a dry system. found a gasket some where around the oil pan?? Yes all seals including timing cover was replaced but they seem to be ok... we shall see.

I had an oil leak and the dealer replaced the oil pan plenum three times. It still leaked. The leak was coming from the four magnets mounted at the end of the cams. The oil was coming out of the electrical connection at the top of the cam magnets. The four cam magnets were replaced and no more oil leaks. It's been three years now and everything is dry and leak free.

Thanks for the heads up. she is back in the dealer for the third time maybe this will be the final attempt.. lets hope!
