Long time admirer of XLR's, decided it was time for a toy again, found a 2005 XLR with less than 19000 miles on it ........... bought it for my wife.

Pretty happy with it, its been over 24 hours and the weather today is Cool, so not out yet.

I will be around here looking for events and show to drop in.

Thanks
STEVE

Welcome aboard Steve...

My XLR is an '04 with 60,000... Enjoy your new XLR as well as your stay here on the forum.

Welcome. Check out the events page. There are several events being organized for this summer. It's a great way to meet other XLR owners and put names with faces. Hope to see you at one of them.

Welcome to another fellow Canadian, we are only 3 hours or so from each other.
Wondering what colour your XLR is but my big question: Is your wife into cars or did you use her as your excuse to buy an XLR? (not that there is anything wrong with that: just as long as you got the car ;)) There are quite a few women with XLR's on this forum but no other Canadian women that I know of. Hope to meet you both someday soon.

Maybe you could caravan to the MT Rocket Run in August???

Hi all, sorry for the delay, but I have been in the hospital for 10 days and am just getting out and about.

My wife is extremely car savvy and the XLR was here choice, after I showed it to her, and explained the heritage.

We are looking forward to "showing" our new toy this summer.

Wow, 10 days; must have been rough. I trust you are doing much better now. I am headed there myself on the 27th, left knee replacement but that is only 4 days in but 6-8 weeks recovery. Take care and hopefully we will meet someday! :burnout:

Kinda similar to how I got my XLR, so sounds like you are a good man & your wife is a cool lady! Hope you get well soon!
