New member from Tennessee

[XLR Hopeful!]

Hello, all. I am browsing around for an XLR but don't have one yet. I chose my user name because I'm hopeful of finding the right car, and then I'll be hopful that it's a good one. If that last condition fails, I might have to change it! But I prefer to be optimistic.

I'm anxious to learn all I can about the cars, and this site seems to be a great resource. I would love to see a buyer's guide like I saw referenced in another thread. I'm very impressed with the registry--congrats to the webmaster! I have not seen one as complete on any other car site.

I'll start a thread in discussions on the various cars I'm looking at. Because we all love to argue about cars, right?

I have an 08, Black with around 70K miles. I'm thinking about reducing to only one car. Car seems to run fine and no body damage. The center console has the usual "won't stay closed" problem, but that doesn't bother me. Everything else works. Retired, so the car only gets driven a few miles every few days. If interested, I live in Winston-Salem, NC.
