Welcome to the Cadillac XLR Forums!

New guy here just pulled the trigger!

While I do absolutely love my XLR, I never said I liked it better than the Corvettes I have owned. While the XLR is a beautiful car and more luxurious than the Vette, it dosent have that plant your azz in the seat speed that some of my Vettes had.....but thats ok, that is not why I bought this car anyway. Im retiring to the beach and I wanted a classy convertable to cruise in and this more than fits the bill...:)

Welcome to the world of XLR's. You should try the V and you may change your mind! I must say the newer vettes are awesome and cannot be compared to the C6 version of the XLR. I had the chance to track a new C7 and am tempted to get one of those too. I need to sell one of the XLR-Vs I have first.

I would imagine the V, with its forced air intake, would plant your azz in the seat! :D But comparing apples to apples, the 06 C6 base Corvette coupe I just sold, would have blown the doors off my 05 XLR....:D

Oh yeah, 80 more horses and several hundred pounds lighter makes all the difference.

Nice thanks for posting the pic

Congratulation.:rocker: What are your plans for the XLR?

Well...ru in Stanton, Mason, Somerville? Tune me in tomorrow morning from 8 to 11 on 101.5 FM. Tell me your name on the air and we'll talk cars.

BTW...most of my wife's family all live in Gulfport, Long Beach and Pass Christian.

You may be able run. But you won't be able to hide.
