Hi, still haven´t found the time to take some pictures.
When I came to get the car, I flew to Brussels via Amsterdam and took a train from there to Mons.
Going back, I drove the car to Travemunde via Cologne ( not the fastest way, but me and wife had a small vacation there). From Travemunde we took a ferry to Helsinki. From helsinki We drove to Tampere, where I live. So in all the round trip was around 4700 km (2950MI, for you in states)

The way back with the car not including the ferry was around 1000 km.

I live in California and I though our fees are high. I paid $275 to register last year and that includes $45 for a vanity plate.

Vanity plates in Finland costs 1000,- Euros :thumbsup

, the insurance and registration+taxes are around 2000,- / year.
And Yes, the gasoline costs around the same than in Belgium :lol:

Just curious: What is the onlooker reaction to an XLR in Belgium/Finland? Does ANYONE know what it is?
Your car is drop dead gorgeous! I'll bet it draws a crowd.

I think there are 6 XLR´s in Finland, so most people don´t even know what the hell it is :chuckle

Unfortunately out of those six, three are in 60 MI radius from my home. But yes it draws a crowd. Still trying to get the time to take some photos of mine.....

In Belgium; you may to receive an official privatly number plate (yes you pay for this again !).... idelal, I think it's the plate ; FURTIF-02...

It has a chain and does not have to be changed.

The XLR engine is very stout.

There is very poor communication out there as to
what was done to it to enhance it over the traditional
Northstar engine which is an excellent engine if taken
care of properly.

I passed a google maps photo car in my XLR a few years ago and I checked the street view from that spot for over a year hoping they posted an update: but no luck. That is cool that you found that. How long ago did that get filmed by Google?
