Good top-down weather....no XLR

When a nice(top-down)bit of weather finally hit the Maine coast, DARTH is in the shop, awaiting another oxygen sensor. This is the second one, in a month. Thank heavens for GMPP.
Dealer loaned me a new XTS sedan. Very nice.
Come on GM parts, cough up the sensor. I want to ride.

FWIW, Check the MAF

Ed, when I had two different dealers replace O2 sensors (driver side, rear) within a month, the REAL problem turned out to be the MAF sensor. Once they replaced the MAF, all my CEL problems were solved. Also, check to make sure you don't have either intake or exhaust leaks. Either/both of those will incriminate the O2 sensor.

Tim - thanks for the tip, I'll pass it on tomorrow.
Yeah, it's pretty hot here, too. But we Manics have get it when we can. But between the cooled seats and the a/c, the heat's bearable, even with the top down.

Had the exact same issues and it also turned out to be the MAF sensor.

Looks like we may just get a couple of warm winter days although it's winter white still today, temps on the rise starting tomorrow on up to almost 70 here in S central PA on Sunday then back to the 40's again Monday but hate to say I believe the chance of a white Christmas will be all melted by Tuesday ???

top down weather

sorry to here your news about the 02 sensor. But this weekend here in north florida will be around the mid to high 70's. So i'll be doing some topless driving. might have to dodge the occasional rain showers though on monday or tuesday.
