I take far flung road trips during the summer, 1700-2000 miles. Top is always down unless I find rain. I`m single, have a leather bag and a credit card. Top, I don`t need no stinkin` top, just an open road to kill bugs.

The key word in this statement is "single". I wonder why women even own convertible cars, the ones I know wont use them, cause it messes up their hair.

You just don't know the right women! Top is down on mine every chance I get. As for hair - that's what hats are for.

We use two leather bags that fit in the 'confined' area, but if it's a long trip we pack the trunk full and empty it when we arrive for top down driving. You can also ship your bags ahead via UPS or FedEx and enjoy top down all the way to and from.

You can do any of those sensible suggestions or you can do what I do which is pack and repack for days and days ahead of time ....

Thats why I bought the "V" hats too. Didn't work for me. Oh well. Don't let my fiancee hear I don't know the right women . She actually does like it down in town most times, anything under 50 mph. I just like it down all the time.
