I am looking at my parts list sheet and was wondering if anyone knows if the courtesy light for both doors are discontinued. part number is (R) 10384583 and (L) 10384584.

Also now that I had my leather redone. The arm rest and seat look great. But the door insert trim looks shabby. Part number (L) 15277527

I think I would go back to your upholstery shop and have them make new door inserts in ebony/black. Probably cheaper than trying to find original parts

I guess the door insert is discontinued.

I was at my dealer today for air and "pit stop" check up. Stopped in at parts and had them look up the courtesy light. They looked up the part and found it for 58 rounded. I noticed my grill air intake ismaking the car look it's age. So I looked up the price for this item too.

. If I was to get everything courtesy lights, and air intake it would cost me just around $200.00

I finally found one...NEARLY PERFECT - 0 BULB BURN, WHATSOEVER! (UNREAL!) NO CRAZING OR SCRATCHES! Just very minor trim flaws. Being verifiably ONE OF 3 IN EXISTENCE better jump on it!...Reason for sale is shop found a guy with 3 NEW IN BOX PAIRS, (now 2) @ $2300 EA. (I BELIEVE.) MUST BUY BOTH SIDES. Will get source and post. Now tight ass EX insurance wont allow us install the right so I'll have an actual matching pair after jerking me around for 3 months, saying to drive w/no light. SO now I'll have the inherent burnt right, with a brand new shiny left! YAY! THEY'RE ACTUALLY COMING TO PICK IT UP! AND WHAT SELL IT ON EBAY?? WTF? (UNLESS I GET THERE FIRST AND I MEAN IT!) They're so damned incredibly cheap, it's BEYOND UNREAL! PLUS, OTHER SIDE IS LIABLE FOR THE DAMAGES! FYI, DON'T USE TRAVELERS! THEY'RE NOT ON YOUR SIDE. SOOOO burned out ! MY fear is if another idiot hits me, here we go again...Better sell now before it's just junkyard parts. Apologize for the emotions, but at week 11, there is seemingly no end to this....

I saw on eBay a couple days ago 2 black XLRs both with front end damage. The guys were selling various parts off the cars. They both had taillights. I didn't inquire.

Add OEM air assist struts (P/N 88956655) for the rear deck lid to the Discontinued list.

Aftermarket struts are still available here: Sachs SG330112 Gas Charged Trunk Lift Support

At this price, it would be prudent to stock up on a pair to keep in reserve.

Aware that no matter what year then need for information, parts still exist! Yes a newbe to this car and is or has become a project car requiring many upgrades; to date have replaced lower grill, new rear view mirror seats refreshed and dash pad cleaned up the headlight and fog lenses. Hoping to find someone who might be in the same place and time as I, and would have the knowledge spare parts I am seeking.
