many thanks for the documentation.
I have a question. On page n. 8 is written about Scan Tool Output Controls.
For 4.6 LH2 engine you have the possibility to activate and deactivate manually the cooling fan.
I need this function because I have some problems about engine cooling overtemperature.
I already replaced che cooling fan but I want to be sure it work correctly.
The question is: which is the best or the right Scan Tool for our Cadillac?
Maybe I will buy it to help me to solve my problems.
I'm writing from Italy but I think it isn't a problem. Today you can buy everything worlwide.

You need to get a tech 2 scanner. You should be able to bet a reproduction tool. That is what most of us use. They run about 300$ us. They will hive you codes that match tge factory and make finding problems easy. There are members here with factory manuaks that can help you once you get a code.
