cigarettes ligher and phone charger ?????? strange question???

this may be strange question, but my phone charger works great in the console plug but in in the cigarettes ligher plug, although the ligher works fine, do I need a special adapt

Perhaps the center contact in the cigarette lighter needs to be pulled/bent forward a bit: although generally not - as the bullet nose in the phone cord usual has lots of ‘travel’ and should make contact.

Did this work for you, mine doesn't work, replaced with a 10A fuse, still doeant work??

still can't get it to work ,it's seems that the center is to far down
