Help! Brakes locked up

Brakes locked up. Started car to leave garage for short ride with top down. Put car in reverse to back put , heard a pop and brakes are locked. parking brake works, no brake peddle return movement, no warning lights or messages. Car will move in reverse and drive. Checked ABS fuses all good. Any ideas?

Thats weird. The park brake hold better going forward than reverse .when you say pracking brake works do you mean it returns when you put it in gear. Is there resistance when you push the park brake.? What do you nean by no brake pedal return? You may have a broke return spring but id say more likely a cable broke on the e brake and has one side locked up. Its going to take jacking up the car and seeing which wheel is locked up to locste the problem
