Ordered the rotors online from StreetSideAuto. They are very good, with service, free shipping and fast delivery.:)

squealing brakes

I am on my last nerve with squealing brakes. I have had to the dealer 5 times to no avail. Did the Fritz line thing, took it back once more with the same result. An $80,000 car with junk brakes. Since the back pads were nearing not passing state inspection, I have them changed by independant shop. He put on ceramics. That lasted 3 days. Took it back, they put semi metallics on, that lasted 2 weeks. Apparently no auto parts sells anything "softer" then semi metallics. I don't care if the wheels get dirty, I want the squealing stopped. Any suggestions or if rotors is the fix are you absolutely sure for that amount of money?

I replaced all four rotors and pads using stock OEM parts and that did the trick.
I get a little brake dust but nothing a weekly washing doesn't take care of.

I would recommend that if you use OEM rotors to paint them first. They will rust in just a day or two. I wish I had taken the time for this minor tweak myself.

Good Luck!
