2006 XLR from Sunny Florida!

I purchased a one owner 2006 XLR back in May and have never been happier with an automobile! I also own a 50th Anniversary Corvette convertible. Nice to have found this site! I am looking forward to interacting with the experts as well as everyone else!

Nice to hear you have a XLR that you own and enjoy without having problems. If you do run into troubles with your X this is the place to figure it out. Friendly owners with your best interest at heart ! It is refreshing to have a new owner that enjoys the car without making it look like X'S are always a problem. I've owned mine trouble free since 09 and enjoy it as much as I can. I've owned many cars but enjoy this one over them all. We see so many problems on this forum it gives these cars a bad rap unintentionally.

She's Gold Mist. Wish I had a more aggressive color but I think she's pretty.

Thanks for the welcome! The only 'troubles' that I have had were nominal. Had to get the top synchronized and a new coil. The dealership here (Dimmit Automotive Group) is outstanding! Never been treated so well.

XCELLENT CHOICE and year!! Welcome to the gang from a former Floridian (Lakeland and Orlando) This color wasn't my first choice, but the car was too nice to pass on. Now the color is starting to grow on me and I like the fact that every other one isn't the same color as mine (ours)!

We don't live all at far apart.....except for the summer as I am Canadian (Hamilton, Ontario) We have a winter home in North Port FL but alas my XLR is on Ontario. Hope to see you out and about sometime, you may catch us in our 64 Acadian Station Wagon at local car show. (photos in my albums online here)

Nice cars. I haven't really had any real issues with mine either. Important to keep them charged up at all times on a battery tender. Post some pictures when you can, By the way, Gold Mist ones are really nice. No prejudice here.
