XLR Tow Hooks

where does it go

I dont think our XLR in the USA uses that tow hook. All MB and BMW have a snap cover over a hole were you screw in the toe hook because I think thats law in Germany. The XLR does not have a place to screw the hook in. Some corvettes do I hear, but most do not.

As mickeytee stated, the XLR didn't have a place for the tow hook, except for overseas models. The C7 Corvettes in the Grand Sport and Z06 models have both front and rear locations for the tow hooks.

This design is a replacement for the GM OEM p/n 15234068. The manual I looked at for the XLR called out the identical part number as the C7, GS, Z06, And ZR1. The GM part number for both cars call out the 15234068. The manual may very well been calling it out for the overseas units.
