No Fob Detected

I have a 2006 XLR. I get a random 'No Fob Detected' message. Car will not start. I put remote in slot in glove box but still will not start. Cadillac dealer can't seem to find cause.

15 to 20 minutes later it will start and reads the fob with no issue.

Has anyone else had a similar issue and is there a fix?
