Mirror lights

Hey

What is the procedure for switching out the rear view mirror courtesy down lights ? ... You open the door they come on,,,,stay on and fade out. One on driver's side has become finicky . blinks on and off very quickly then will stay on blink again....no pattern to it. I don't want to break anything.

Hi BILL.

Check the bulbs contacts within the downward sockets, as they are not easy to install and perhaps the bulb element could be defectives, or a pinch wire or a bad ground.

A fine small screwdriver is fine to release gently the lens at the open spots for it.
