Hi everyone, My name is Billy. Wanted to introduce myself and also see if I could get help.

If there is anyone in Houston I would like to be able to keep in touch to see where is a good place to take my car for physical damage :( / parts. Or even someone that is good and familiar with these cars they can help me do some DIY fixes because no one here wants to touch this car apparently because it is so problematic.

First the intro, then I will be posting on the section for damages. Thank you. ive had my dream car for 7-8 years already but although i dont wanna give up on it, it's turning out to be a head ache.

Thank you!

Welcome to The XLR Site

Welcome aboard. Don't know what kind of issues you are having (?), but I will do more reading under The Tec Posts here on the site. The one thing I have learned since I got mine is that these vehicles have more 'parasitic battery drain' than any I have ever owned! Something is always drawing 'juice', just sitting. Essential that you have it on a "Battery Maintainer" float charger hooked up at all times. If the battery tests good, but shows it is 'weak', replace it. When I first got mine. Sat for 48 hrs., and the battery was partially 'dead'. Car was doing all kinds of weird stuff. Tested 'weak'. So replaced it. Now 2 years old, and I'll probably replace it again this Spring.

Again, Welcome!
