My dad purchased this car new for over $86,000 (Sticker was $92,000) in 2009 from Silver Star Cadillac in Thousand Oaks, California. It has basically been sitting in his garage unused for years, and he’s asked me to sell it as he is downsizing his car collection. This is a limited edition vehicle and 2009 was the last year Cadillac made this model. It’s fast, smooth, prestigious, and a definite head-turner. I rarely if ever see this model and have never seen it in this color. In the week that I have been driving it, I am asked about it at almost every stop. This car is in excellent condition and I personally detailed it this week. The price is set based on the low mileage, condition, and suggestion from my friend who is a Cadillac dealer in Southern California. See below for additional information and the link for a detailed review of the car.

Wow you have a mint car. I see the odom is only at under 10 k miles. Did I see a steering knob on the wheel.
Again what a prized possession you have. And tops its in mint and garage kept.

Paging Cubby, wheres' Cubby? This car is calling you!

Cubby commit his check book before bid for the 09 XLR.

I am OK for Cubby taking this black cherry XLR and doing the wonderful things he does. if it is a V all offs are off!!!
Just so ya know..........

If it was a V and had the two tone interior (Only one made in that combo), I'd be all over it!!:lol: Steve, it would lok good sitting next to your white one!

This one on the registry has Cashmere interior. There was one V made that had the two-tone Ebony/Cashmere interior. That is the one that cannot be found!!

I may have the interior color listed wrong in the Registry. Is this the one?

That car was listed as 'purple' and I was windering if in fact it is black cherry. It has a custom made (billet) exhaust tip simular to the stock XLR but built too big, it does not tuck up in nicely. :(

In my discussions with the dealership for the few hours this XLR V was available on April 13, 2013 I confirmed that it was a Black Cherry V, the exhaust was modified from stock with a Magna Flow system and the car's condition was reportedly highly desirable. It sold before the dealership had time to send me the CarFax history.

This is not the elusive model with the two tone interior. Thus, I am still on the hunt.........

I am confused. I always thought my interior was just Cashmere, just got my window sticker and it is Cashmere with Ebony Accents. The only ebony is the dash, the top edge of the doors and the tonneau & rollbars. I just assumed those were all black/ebony on all the cars. I have attached a pic of my interior. It looks the same as the car in question. Is the V interior quite different when it is Cashmere w/Ebony?

I too am curious what is ebony on the two tone interior? The center seat sections? The suede door panels?

So if it is truly a black cherry V, then I do have the interior listed correctly in the registry?

Two Tone Interior people PLEASE SPEAK UP!

I am wondering now: am I correct to say that the V two tone has contrasting colour seat inserts? I know the V has different material than the base XLR. In the tech centre, under 2009 in the New Features listing, it states about the base XLR: Ebony/Cashmere two tone with Natural Olive Ash Burl wood appiontments and Quartz metal accents(Cashmere in door and seat inserts) --------specifically noting that fact about the inserts
BUT under the V's new features it makes no claims either way about the door and seat inserts.

In 2009 for the first time Cadillac was offering a two tone interior--Ebony/Cashmere. Just the opposite of what you stated Phrede. The suede inserts on the seat and door panels were cashmere with ebony leather on the outer portions of the seats and door panels.

After 2004 or 2005 model year, (can't remember for sure) Cadillac made all the dash pads, roll bar hoops, top of doors and tonneau area ebony, regardless of the interior trim. Before that if you had the shale interior all the above listed items were in a darker tan color. If you had ebony interior, everything was ebony.

Looks like maybe 2006 was the first year for the ebony roll bars etc.... Pic of a 2005 2005 Cadillac XLR Colors - XLR Net Photo Gallery - Cadillac XLR Photos
