First XLR

Hey People, new to this XLR-NET! Just bought a Black Raven 2004 XLR, one owner and 52,000 Miles and I know nothing about XLRs.

I started with the voluminous Owner's Manual, it is lot to absorb. It came with 2 FOBs, but the buttons are damaged on one, I replaced the battery and I wanted see if it would start the car in the Transmitter Pocket. However, I couldn't find the exact location in the Manual (it says it's in the glove box, but a diagram would be helpful); is it the slot to the left of the actual storage part and if so, what is the orientation of the FOB? Also, the best place to buy a new FOB if possible?

Any information would be appreciated.

Welcome to the site and hoPe you enjoy your car. Used fobs sell for 400-600$ on ebay and most likely wont be much better than yours. Ive used the later style for corvette and xlr 06-09 they will work some dont have sucess with them . im not sure why. You can buy them for 100-150 new and used

Rob I purchased a fob in great condition but sold the car before it arrived. It's yours for $200 if interested.
